    Patriot Guard at work today.

As I was pulling into work today I saw about 50 flags lining the drive in. As I got closer I realized that the Patriot Guard was lined up on the road outside of my workplace. I knew right away what that meant.

About 45 minutes after sitting down in front of the RADAR scope I had the privilege to help Staff Sgt. Edward Mills Jr. land at the airport. He was soon after escorted back to his home town of New Castle, PA.

I was reminded today, and I posted this as just a little reminder to all of you, that freedom is not free.

Rest in peace Staff Sgt. Edward Mills Jr.

    Mark Twain:
The government is merely a servant -- merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a
patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.

Me, too. Never gets any easier, but that's why it is so important.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

I'm looking to buy a bike soon, I hope to be able to participate. What an awesome experience it must be to protect the path of the final trip of a hero.

Crap, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
