Authorities are reporting a shootout involving U.S. federal agents and an elite team of Texas Rangers has injured at least three suspected drug runners along the Rio Grande......'bout time!

KHOU was just saying some fish and wildlife guys were involved too! Report said our side scored hits on three bad guys but no one captured.

nice to see 3 were hit

It would be even nicer if they had some real power with them. If we can watch smugglers on the move they can put down the heat too. just had to put it out there.

IIRC there are only like 120 Texas Rangers total. How more elite can that be?

The Governor ordered several Texas Rangers to deploy to the Border to help control cross border violence etc.Large drug loads are nothing new down here, but its getting to the point when LEO's intercept a shipment they are starting to get shot at from the Mexico side if they are in clear view, the Drug Runners will drive like maniacs to get back to the river and either stop the vehicle and jump into the Rio Grande,or if Border Patrol LEO's are too close will drive into the river before swimming to the other side.I'm thinking we need some M2's mounted on humvees and if they wanta flee and endanger innocent motorists, then they get lit up with some 50 calibre Jalapenos
