Lord, could we PLEASE get some Border Patrol commanders with the backbone and mindset of Charlie Askins? He was the de facto founder of the BP and was responsible for making them the best combat shooters in American law enforcement for more than a generation. He also did not suffer border trespassers lightly.

Of course not! How can you even think about something like that?
Bring home all US troops from the Middle East and let them secure the border; it is not harder than that. But of course, that will never happen because it would upset Mexico, and we do not want to do that; securing the border should be very unfair to drug dealers and illegals.
