Sucks. They had under covers tailing the armed robbery suspect and call in the uniforms to make the traffic stop. How can experienced cops let a known felon punk get the drop on them?

The sheriff says Bun is being treated at a hospital for bites from a police dog.

^^^^^^I would have let the dog finish him^^^^^^^^^

And would Have Stuffed A Ham AND Cheese Sandwich In his pockets after wards, and then just shrugged my shoulders when asked why the dog could not be called off.

Hopefully this 17 year old will be tried as an adult and take a gurney ride soon.

My only question is why would you attempt to serve a felony armed robbery arrest warrant on a known violent offender, without having back up in place? Not knocking the officer, just sounds like he had a fatal momentary lapse in judgement.

his arrest sheet will stop here.

anyone does that to a cop in the line of duty is a larger hazard to the general public than can be said in a
few words by the likes of me....but I'll offer up my good right hand to pull the lever on his plug 'n die chair.

Tenderized by police dog...a good start. I would hope that they don't let this little turd plea down from death.

The loss of the deputy's life is a tragedy.

Few details on the actual incident, so it is difficult to evaluate.

Why was a 55 year old dep the front man on the stop of an armed felon?

Young Bun's time should soon be approaching an end...some interesting GA facts:

    Georgia

Does my state have the death penalty?
Yes, Georgia has executed a total of 39 people since 1976.

What is my governor's position on the death penalty?
Governor Sonny Perdue (R) does not have authority over the death penalty. In keeping with the state constitution, all appeals or requests for clemency are made by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole.

How many people are on Death Row in my state?
There are currently 107 prisoners on Death Row in Georgia. Of the 107 Death Row prisoners, 51 are black, 52 are white, 3 are Latino and 1 is Asian. Of the 107 prisoners on Death Row, 1 is a woman.

Is there anything like the Center on Wrongful Convictions in my state?
There is no Innocence Project devoted strictly to cases in this state. However, The Innocence Project at Cardozo School of Law in New York City does handle some non-New York cases.

Was anyone on Death Row ever found innocent in my state?
Yes, 5 innocent people were exonerated on Death Row in Georgia.
