    It doesnt reallt matter if they blow it up though. I agree... does the UK have Air Marshalls or do we put them on for uk to us flights?

    I agree. I wish that it did not come to this. I would like to be able to bring a bottle of water with me on the plane and not be forced to purchase one at the terminal for $2.00 a bottle.

    News Conference from DHS today said we're send ing Air Marshals over to UK to help out and watch inbound flights to the US

    I took Nicky's comment to mean - armed presence not gonna help much if explosives involved.

    Transatlantic flights are probably going to passenger hell for some while now - imagining uprated security measures.

    I would rather the police and intelligence be good enough to stop the bombers before they get in the plane to begin with. In this case, the officials were good enough.
