Hopefully they catch the scumbag before he shoots anyone else and he decides he won't be taken alive. Save the state some money..

He needs to come out of the park in a body bag! Prayers for slain Ranger and for her husband who was working elsewhere in the park as this event took place.

Unfortunately, this will be spun by the anti's since firearms have recently been allowed in National Parks. Nobody will mention that the scumbag that would shoot a Park Ranger would have had a gun regardless of the law.

It has been legal for people to take loaded firearms into Mount Rainier since 2010, when a controversial federal law went into effect that made possession of firearms in national parks subject to state gun laws.
Yep, that comment had nothing to do with what happened at all, and shouldn't have been included in the article unless they had an "agenda" by adding it.

That's a big area, and it will be extremely hard for them to find him in there if he has any skills, which they say he does. But, I'm betting my dog could track him and find him quick enough. That will be their best and quickest method to find him.

What a shame to be taken from this world at such a young age. To leave behind small children at their ages is even worse. All they will have is pictures of her without the memories to go with them. I hope for all i's worth that they catch this DIRT ROACH, skip his trial, and send him strait to the chair.

Let’s hope they get lucky and he falls off a cliff while trying to escape.

shooter is 24 year old Iraq veteran trained in wilderness survival...that is the latest locally here...said that he shot 4 people at a New Year's house party in Skyway, Wash., south of Seattle that left four people injured, two critically. That incident happened about 3 a.m., and started with an
argument over a gun...then shot the ranger...found body armor and plenty guns in hi car....
