Your always going to have people bitc* over what the cops did or did not do. There appears to be sufficient evidence that the cops tried to have the kid put down the weapon. The statements from staff as well as students support that this was a justified shooting. Let this be a lesson for the other students and parents.
This should serve as a lesson to those who think making schools gun free zones has any real chance of actually making a school into a gun free zone. But then again schools also put signs indicating schools are drug free zones, and we all know how that's been working out. There must be some connection between liberal educators and liberal law-makers who believe more gun control will actually prevent criminals from having guns.
Why do these kids have to be so stupid?

In this incident, there was nothing good that came out of it for anyone involved. A kid lost his life, because he made numerous bad decisions on that day. It's a shame.
