took 3 weeks to leak a little....

methinks the leak has completely dried, turned to dust and blown away

3 years ago at my club a area police man discharged his gun in the parking lot during a CT Police shooting event.
the wall of blue was 2 deep but i got a pic of the policeman holding the gun and the hole in his cruiser door
(movie mode and i was taking film of the event in front of me, heard the shot behind me in the parking lot and turned--
only later did i know i got details.)

word spread through the crowd and we, the civilians and club officers felt sufficiently intimidated that we never made it
public. fear.....actually we were made to be fearful.

so, Texas, no different than CT...

They are just darn lucky that no one was injured or killed so they CAN sweep it under the rug.

Hubby was doing a training session with LEO tactics team as their team medic. One officer must have forgot to empty his weapon. Next thing hubby heard was a BANG and the guy shot our car's door. Again....Stuff happens when you are not careful. I wonder why hubby doesn't train with them anymore.

EVERYONE in el paso who carries should march up to the police station and demand a "One Free ND/AD Shot (with no injuries)" card

so that they can feel like they have the same rules as the police have

I prefer to stay informed of what goes on in my city/state/country. If you wish to not hear about situations where peoples lives are put in danger, don't read the news. Simple.

What kind of certification does someone need to know not to put your finger inside the trigger guard regardless if it was a M4 or any other type of weapon???? I am calling BS on this one. This has nothing to do with someone having the proper certification. Someone messed up and throw this person was not authorized to use weapon story out there to put a better spin on it.

We all make mistakes and he is no different. He knows and they know but to air it out serves no purpose. It is as simple as this if to use a knife every day so or a later you are going to cut a finger. It’s the same with guns, so or a later you are going to have an ND. There is going to be a point where you lose concentration and it happens but the difference between you and the other guy is when it happens to you your training and common sense has the gun pointed in a safe direction and that is what sounds like happen here

I don't care if he was authorized to carry the rifle, a triger is a trigger, regardless of the type of gun. He wasn't aware of what might happen if he pulled the trigger? He needs a new job.

Just about every police station has holes in the walls.

NDs are commonplace. Luckily it is infrequent when anyone is injured.

I've heard stories from before my time, I've seen some holes in my PD, I've had guns pointed at me in PDs by fellow officers who all should know better. I'm glad that I no longer work for the PD . . . my fellow gun club members are a lot safer.

Ok, let me get this straight.......

Law enforcement does a negligent discharge where no one is injured.... no problem

Civilian does a negligent discharge where no one is injured.... charges (or possible) filed

    Hmmmm, sounds fair to me.......
