"Monetary gain" being the key phrase. Personally, I don't care if someone wants to lie to me about their service record. We generally find their lies through an FOIA request to NPRC. We can then expose them for what they are. Free speech and all.
Perhaps your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.
Moved out of news, it has nothing to do with 2a, self defense, concealed carry issues

After todays desicion, I wouldnt trust anyone on the Supreme Court to pour pee out of a boot correctly.
I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.

That's a shame...but no surprise in this country.
Does anyone know if the Supreme Court "Justices" have ever been in the Armed Services?
I was never a hero, but I am thankful I served among them.
As for the ruling on this law, it was correct, even if it stinks. There is no point in having a first amendment if you don't use it to protect speech that is repulsive; non-offensive speech doesn't need protecting.
Well, as a vet, this decision just disgusts me. Persons lying about military honors is an affront to those who really did receive the honors. And after the you-know-what decision today, I just don't understand what this current SCOTUS is up to with decisions like this. And, we can't vote them out!

I was wounded in Vietnam
And then I retired........ Honest I ain't lying

Medal of Honor, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and other replica medals go on sale tomorrow :
* impress your friends and family
* impress your neighbors
* impress woman at bars.
* wear them when you are out and impress people walking by
* wear them in parades
* make up stories of things that never occurred, and revise them monthly, no one will ever know
* We'll even put them on your grave stone, to impress people in the future..... that you must have been "some kind of guy" .
The 'dishonor' of this is to those who served and through their actions .... were awarded those medals, and who never did what they did ... because they thought they might get a medal for it. To those that were awarded these medals in real life, received more than a medal.... they earned respect, honor, showed true valor..... and were called "heroes", something those fake idiots will never get, nor ever understand.
