You can hang MOLLE/PALS pouches on it. They thread into the Frame and on the harness. I added a photo to the article showing pouches mounted on the carrier...

This was at SHOT in January. I like the idea and am looking forward to some longer term reviews. For now, I like the Crye LPC or BFG LMAC.
EDIT - Maybe it was the Crye Lightweight at SHOT. I looked for the thread but couldn't find it. Anyway, Crye had something similar at SHOT and I think it makes sense, especially with new designs like BFG's Helium Whisper...
