    Glad they got 'em.

Mumford is charged with six counts of attempted murder and five counts of terrorism. Clayton is charged with six counts of aiding and abetting and five counts of terrorism.
"Terrorism?" What about the bank robbery? Or is that now considered "terrorism?"

No capital punishment here in Iowa (Quaker and Amish influence?). It will be life without parole max.

    From the article:
" Mumford is charged with six counts of attempted murder and five counts of terrorism."

I've never approved of how we have revamped our laws regarding terrorism since 911. Terrorism is an extraordinary act of criminality that approaches or may be regarded as an act of War and should not be lumped in with the acts of ordinary criminals.

"Clayton and Mumford surrendered without incident."

Well, you know, aside from the shooting anyway

Well, they look like they will be a nice addition to the ladies section of the prison where they will spend a lot of time checking their shoe laces and picking up soap in the communal showers...

    So all is not lost...

They'll get their due... in the end...

Bank robbery invites federal charges as well. Just because Iowa does not have the death penalty does not mean they are of the hook. If they broke any federal laws that are capital offenses the feds can execute them.

As far as I know, the feds have yet to execute a terrorist. These terrorism charges won't fly in the 8th district anyway.

    :what: ???

Edit: Good grief, how could I have forgotten about Tim McVeigh? !

I thought in prison society that:

    child abusers...bad
    cop killers...good

The death penalty takes so long (except in McVeigh's case) that most killers are guaranteed 20+ years of appeals.
I'd rather see them thrown into the General population and let nature take it's course. Jeffery Dalmer only lasted a few months.
