I bought a Hissatsu for on-duty carry. It is a heavy defensive folder with some good design features. Noted martial artist and trainer James Williams' input made for a combative knife, and not one with utility as a primary attribute. Still, I used it around the house for utility and kitchen duty and I was not disappointed. I posted photos and video along with a review of the Hissatsu here:

JD, ...or the cutouts in the scales a little larger. I just bought a Boker Kwaiken, which is a beautiful knife, but the cutouts for the thumb disk are so small I have a hard time digging out the blade. I'm always looking for that "perfect" folder, just can't seem to find it!
