    That seems like a lot... better hit/shot ratio than the NYPD, though (not even counting the number of times the guy was hit), so credit where it is due there.

    Noooo, the driver was shot 23 times, and the passenger, 24. That is 47 hits out of 137 shots fired.

    They both died. Police claim they heard a shot fired at the downtown Justice Center and saw the car at the same time. That's why they gave chase. Suspects led them on a 25 minute chase during which at least one officer claims to have seen a gun. The chase at times reached 100mph.
    Not jumping to conclusions, but when the lights go on, why don't people stop?

    So I'm going to go ahead and poke at it and say that 5 shots was most definitely not enough?

    Still, even if there was a backfire, why on earth run from the police? I don't have the facts, but something tells me these two weren't delivering canned goods to the Church shelter....
