    Follow-up on Sheriff's Reserve....

Had my interview yesterday. They called me this morning--they offered me a position, but the Academy starts TONIGHT. It turns out that our Sheriff's office only found out yesterday that the Academy start date had been moved up about 4 weeks. So, here we go--could be an interesting ride.

...ALL of your talents are in need by LEOs today...be safe out there and follow the Leader...I called my old Police Chaplain back about 5 years ago and we had a talk...about 30 years after he served us...about all he did for us...the way I didn't receive it...and how the seeds he planted so long ago had finally produced a crop...he was dying of pancreatic cancer...the visit was priceless...looking forward to seeing him again...never doubt that your efforts will have an effect...

Isn't it fun to be the oldest guy in the class... Good luck in the Academy, Scott.
