...usually means active...if you're still a reservist, some companies accept that...or Nat Guard may work...

Recommend you check with the company if they have something that you want.
I bought from a company recently that had a price for LE & Military. When I inquired, the military included active, reserve, guard & Retired.
Got a great price.

I'll check that out in the next day or so. The manager is a retired LEO so I may have luck if I speak with him.

We include the law enforcement/military discount on all new Glock pistols to all law enforcement current or retired, all military active, retired or former, and to licensed armed security officers if the firearm is to be used as a duty pistol.

Re: Now when it says LEO and Mil only
Why do people forget about us military folk who did their time and are out now? Not retired, disabled, or active duty? Home depot is like that.
Don't get me wrong... Retired and disabled I totally understand. Active duty is obvious. But if we did our time and got out honorably then why not include us? Esp those who were in battle and were able to come back home.
Just a question. Not trying to offend. In my business if your served honorably I thank them with a discount.

Glock honors retired military with its discounted prices, but does not for "former" military. But not all Glock "dealers" will do this, such as the one near me. Of course, prices are set by the dealer, and if asked, he may give you a break on the price.

I am a disabled vet and it means absolutely nothing as far as promos like this go. You typically have to be active or retired, no love for people that just served and got out.

Our local mil/leo gun shop honors retired mil, too. I buy most of my stuff there.

AS I said we include former Military in our interpetation of the discount. Arent disabled vets retired? A Veteran may have done several tours in combat, not been wounded, and decided to seperate from the military before his retirement date... is he or she any less a national treasure than someone who stayed in?... Our opinion is no.. they are no less a national treasure. The only thing required is an honorable discharge.
