    The intent of the training is good, this is just a poorly writen article with a misleading title.
    The problem with gun control is that drugs are already illegal.

    A couple of notes; it's nice to see the police recommend that people take responsibility for their safety, surprising to hear it coming out of Kalifornia, I would do that regardless of what anyone else thought anyway

    Now if the actually gave the people the means to actively engage a shooter by shall issue Concealed handgun permits for everybody that can legally possess a handgun and applies for one

    I read the article and watched the video, what is new with the three words they use. 1. Run away if possible, 2. Hide, barricade yourself in a room, 3. Fight if 1 & 2 fail. My god that's just common sense. I wonder how much that study cost.

    Would still depend on the employer or campus even in shall-issue jurisdictions, though there are counties in California that issue carry permits that are valid state-wide.
