Wounded Warriors and Medal of Honor recipient visit our FOB

My unit had the honor of hosting 8 wounded warriors and Medal of Honor recipient SFC Leroy Petry for lunch today in Afghanistan. It was quite an experience hearing these soldiers stories and meeting a Medal of Honor recipient. I just want to thank all of those who serve and have served.

Good for you. While in Iraq I had the honor of escorting three MOH winners from Korea and Vietnam. It is something you will not soon forget.

I'm sure you meant to say recipients instead of winners. You do not "win" the MOH.

    Thank you for your service!
