ATF Seeks "Massive" Database of Personal Info (MERGED)

"But putting the ATF’s problems with tracing guns aside, it could still help agents track you down a lot faster than they could before — along with finding out everything else about you. The ATF is looking to speed up its caseload with an automated database for searching individual."

The ATF Wants 'Massive' Online Database to Find Out Who Your Friends Are | Danger Room | Wired.com

"The bureau wants this new system to do all that gathering and research automatically. Which sounds like a good deal, in theory, allowing federal investigators to more easily bust criminals during a hot case. It could potentially give the investigators a lot more information than your sense of privacy may be comfortable with."

If you post here, you are already on a 'Watch List' by any number of Fed Agencies (and, soon to be, Blue State Agencies). Word! And if THEY want you, they will force DC or, most likely, the DC Host to provide that information. Be very careful about what you say. Though Crimes you all have committed, already. Myself included. It depends on who is deciding what your 1A words mean.

If you lay awake at night worried about 'What if they have a No Knock warrent to enter, and they have the wrong address', you might be clued in. This is common. It is called Fishing (not in the internet scam kind of way, but similar).

Your elected officials hire very self-serving Civil Servants to watch you, and they are using Google, Facebook, Yahoo, your IP (Internet Provider) address and every other collection source to figure out who you are. Privacy Statements on your Apps and other, do not mean Bunk! Privacy does no longer exist. Any LEO-Fed task force can now put a GPS tracking device on your car.......... because a Progressive Left Circ Judge said so......... Where is the ACLU on that one? ROFLMAO!

The Socialist arm of our masters have learned well from the Free Enterprise end of our current Social Media economic system on how to best collect data on you.

For those that really, really know your history................. Marketing was created by a Socialist. Look it up.

We are quickly approaching 1936, all over again. Except the targets are now you, the honest person who is a risk to the State. Think about that.

My son investigates passport/ID fraud, makes lots of arrests, and says FB has led him to the suspect in nearly all cases. Even if the BG can keep his mouth shut, "Friends" and family apparently can't. A family photo posted by mom works well in identifying people who aren't previously known.

Re part in bold. Nope. You missed the part where the case went to the Supreme Court and the ruling
went against the state. Supreme Court Court Rejects Willy-Nilly GPS Tracking | Threat Level | Wired.com

I don't post anything about guns on Facebook. If they want to know what my dogs did today or how much I like chocolate, they can find that on my page.

I don't think the type of stuff I post on Facebook would warrant much attention:

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 224 years ago.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

I keep hearing from reliable sources of how corrupt GOOGLE is. That they buy influence and in the last election gave Barry a tech edge that they did not offer to Romney (The American). There are also claims they screen GMAIL for certain words and phrases for the DHS. (Gotta go i think i hear the Black Copters circling)

I never saw any sense in FaceBook.
The first question I asked myself back when I first heard of FaceBook was ~~~>
"Do I NEED this for any logical reason?"
And my answer to myself was "NO" so...I never made myself a part of it.

I guess it's a very good thing for some folks and more power to them.
