    Thanks for posting! That was great. Brought back some memories! I went through jump school at Ft. Benning in Jan/Feb 1962. Our hair was a heck of a lot shorter than the troops in that video!!!! Those guys looked like a bunch of dirty loser LEGS!!! Airborne, All The Way!!! (BTW, when I was in, we didn't have berets. We wore hats with a glider and parachute patch on them.)

    That's back when Airborne were truly elite. I had a lot of respect for those guys.

    My brother was going through that school in July 1968 and pulled a leg muscle and was taken out. Ended up in the Air Cav in Viet Nam with the same job (Huey Doorgunner) but wearing a hard hat.

    I went through in January of '79. Benning was the first and last time I jumped a C-123. It was also the last time I wore OD fatigues. Great memories, although I'm sure it didn't seem like it at the time.

    i remember that video. was in jump school in 75. back in the day we had all types of funky videos and other stuff going on that was used for training.
