I've been hearing about this all week. Maybe I'm missing something, but if there are still four surviving members how can this be the final toast for the Doolittle Raiders?
(Serious question, by the way...maybe I am just missing something.)
It takes a college degree to break'em;
and a high school education to fix'em!
I met Thatcher and Cole. Wonderful men who still remember that day vividly.

The Doolittle display including the reunion goblets is the best display there.

As to the Doolittle raiders, and to the generation which comprised their comrades-in-arms, I am, and shall remain in awe.
Wow I'll be looking forward to that!! (If I'm still awake) Kinda surprised that History Channel wouldn't be showing this. Stuff like this is right up their alley!!!

I am humbled by the greatest generation. In my family there are 2 left alive. 86 and 89 years old. I was born before the war ended and because of that, I had my little head filled with stories of WW2. My mother worked as Rosie the Riveter at the Grumman A/C plant on Long Island, NY. The memories are so fresh and yet so faded.
Thanks for the links. On the National Museum of the USAF website there is a link for the Doolittle Raider Website at the bottom of the page, right side.
