Would have and did have many more than the 93 confirmed.
The method of tallying kills was more stringent in Hathcock's day and time.

    Snipers really interest me.

I believe this is the sniper who was interviewed after the war. He was asked "Was it hard to kill a human being?" He replied "Oh yes they run in zig zag and hide behind things."

Great read. Those Mosin's are so much fun to shoot. They are cheap and easy to find. I was shooting my friends Mosin Carbine this past Sunday and my shoulder still hurts. With the iron sights I was pretty darn accurate. The guys near me with AR's and Eotech scopes were not as accurate, and the range masters saw this. I said it does not take money to be accurate.

I remember having read that before....thanks for the again.

of the many 91-30's I've had 2 were worth some extra work
one was 2 moa and after cleaning it up, some trigger work and
nesting the barrel, with hand loads I have it at sub 1 moa ( !).
the other was 4moa and now is a shade over 2.

    what he did is synergistic.

Yup, I've heard of him. The sniper with the highest number of kills did it without using a scope.

Finnish Mosins Nagant are much more accurate than the Russian, I thought the rounds were the same. By the way the Russian Nagants aren't half bad either.

Did you read at the bottom of the story he was in the hospital with his face half shot off! I am guessing it was more than a flesh wound.
