CBS just ran a piece on his wife, including some footage of him with his kids, and his memorial service. Three anchors, not a dry eye between them. I suspect the same was true of the viewing audience.

Taken from us far too soon, but he clearly has left a legacy.

Prayers for him and his family.

Makes me think of the Billy Joel song, Only the good die young. Not the rest of the song, only the title.

I just purchased the DVD and my son and I watched it last night. The man was a quality person that worked his way through his demons that would haunt any thinking man. My hat is off to him and his family. Just hope the low life that back shot him gets what is due to him in prison.

I carry a Colt Delta Elite 10mm in Milt Sparks VM2 with 2 extra magazines on my belt. This is normally worn on a belt under my bib overalls and works great for me. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.

Don't watch the DVD. Actually read the book. The movie was nice, but changed up a lot of the facts to make things seem more dramatic, and unnecessarily so. The book is much more interesting.

My family just finished watching it on the Roku. Wow, what a story and what a man. It helped me understand the conditions our men have and are fighting in overseas. Godspeed gentlemen!
