186,873 Reasons to Carry a Gun - USA Carry

"According to USA Today, there are 186,873 outstanding warrants for felons and “Police in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Little Rock — all among the nation’s highest-crime cities — told the FBI they wouldn’t pursue 90% or more of their felony suspects into other states.”

I don't blame LEOs for not pursuing felony suspects into other states. States' budgets often just don't have the money to send officers all over the country to retrieve felons. Plus, states' attorneys most likely don't have the time or resources to prosecute these cases.

Bottom line, each of us has to take responsibility for protecting ourselves and our loved ones.

Guess I need to buy some more ammo. Sounds like I don't have near enough!

Yikes, that is scary stuff. I knew this happened to some extent, but not pursuing murder suspects? Justice apparently is not only blind, but shortsighted as well.

What I don't like is that it means some of them come to my state.

And what's worse, manywarrants are "no-extradition" warrants. I don't know why states do that. I've watched several truckers with warrants get released because home state doesn't want to extradite.

It's going to get much much worse. As the obamaconomy continues to be hollowed out(despite the rah rah propaganda media lies), cities, counties, states will have less money (they can't willy nilly raise taxes continually on less and less workers and businesses) cutbacks are going to hit very big. Some municipalities will even have periods of no emergency response. It was reported that detroit in the last couple years has 911 response times of 58 minutes, compared to a national average of 11 minutes. Even police chiefs and sheriffs are giving public the advice of protecting themselves instead of relying on 911 response.

According to what Alabama posts they will go after anyone with a warrent no matter where they are. I don't know if they actually do or not but I've seen on the news where they've brought someone back from another state to stand trial. Hopefully they keep it up.

I've thought that the term "outstanding warrant" was kinda funny. Hey, this is no ordinary warrant, this one is just outstanding!
