Mexican Gunmen overrun US National Guard
http://www.azcentral.com/12news/news...ry0104-CR.html
A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona's border with Mexico.
According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state's West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.
The Border Patrol will not say whether shots were fired. However, no Guardsmen were injured in the incident.
The Border Patrol says the incident occurred somewhere along the 120 mile section of the border between Nogales and Lukeville. The area is known as a drug corridor. Last year, 124-thousand pounds of illegal drugs were confiscated in this area.
The Border patrol says the attackers quickly retreated back into Mexico.

Sounds like we need to go IRAQ on them, and authorize the NG to engage any one hostile and open fire on any traffic they may encounter, that and a tank would be a help.

I have been saying this for a while now and I will say it again.
I think we will be at war with Mexico, primarily over our border issue, by 2020.
What we are experiencing is a slow motion invasion right now. I say arm the National Guard that are currently down there and any more who show up. Let them defend the border instead of just being a labor force for the fence that is not going to get built now that the Democrats are in power.
I am afraid to think of how the illegal immigrant issue will get so much worse over the next 4 or 5 years while the Dems hold Congress. God help us all.

The RINOs have to take a good chunk of the blame for blocking any attempt at doing anything substancial about it.
What really is stupid we had control of Mexico in 1850's, and we gave it back to them. The southern border of Mexico would be easier to secure than what we have now.

You're a bunch of mean spirited racists!
Those poor Mexicans are only storming the National Guard outposts that lazy Americans are no longer willing to storm.
We need to provide them with amnesty, and put them on the fast track to a state-funded FUNERAL!!!

wonder if the GPS units they're getting can be turned into a "targeting device"
just wondering
How much longer do you think it'll be before one of the ranchers or a group of them down on the border will start returning fire

What a joke. Our government chastises Iran and Syria for not controlling the flood of terrorists across their borders while on our very own border a couple shots cause our troops to run for cover. Is there any nation on the world that does not consider us a huge joke?

WTH, the Mexican Army has entered our borders against our wishes how many times? You can't tell me our boys cant squash this in a matter of minutes, why is our gub'ment doing nothing?
This reminds me of why I got out of the military when I did.

I don't see why we don't cut to the chase and form the North American Union. Canada, Mexico, and the USA.

That's exactly what I was wondering. Guardsmen guarding airports and bridges after 9-11 weren't issued any ammo, and those going into New Orleans after Katrina were given a measly ten rounds each. It's really a travesty that these young men and women are put into harms way without the means of defending themselves in order to provide "security theater". Hopefully, they're smart enough to scrounge up some ammo, regardless of their orders.

What you see going on is exactly what the Republicans and Democrats want. They want to do away with all the borders North and South. They wish to destroy the workin class and destroy the sovereignty of American. Both parties have long ago been bought and paid for by the corporate elite of this country. Can anyone be so blind as to think what the people wants means anything to the politicans in either party??
Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.
