    lowes

New guy here. Never saw it mentioned here but Lowes gives a 10% military discount. BUT, you need a picture id. VA or old military id. No DD214. GOTTA HAVE A PICTURE. Company rules. Please don't beat up the cashier. Even Fl. licenses with a V don't have to be accepted. Figured I'd pass it along.

I show my old ID there every time. Home Depot offers the same discount. I definitely prefer Lowes to Home Depot, but they both give 10 % off with ID

Every time I show my retired ID (they have to call a supervisor) they always hunt for the expiration date??? Home Depot has no such drama and doesn't require a supervisor.
