The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.

shot by a motorist he was trying to help? That is pure evil.

Prayers to the wounded trooper and his family.

Prayers go out to the Trooper and his family. Sadly people like this are everywhere. It makes some people cautious at best when giving assistance, for others it convinces them not to give any help. If I am not mistaken the Colorado State Patrol started out as the Colorado Courtesy Patrol where rendering motorist assistance was their main concern. This Trooper honors their beginning and traditions.

Trooper is still alive, but suffered significant blood lose. Luckily he had a partner riding shotgun. Dead perp was a lifelong scumbag and should have been in prison.

Good riddance to the sub-human piece of garbage.
Prayers for the injured trooper to heal and return to work. Prayers for trooper that did what none of us wants to do but must if forced.

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?

Sorry to hear about a wounded trooper, but in the end a live trooper and a dead dirtbag works for me.

We just live in a sick world. You try to help someone and they shoot you. You work hard and someone tries to steal your stuff. SICK!

Say it ain't so! Surely all scum bags are already in prison and we have no reason to look to our own security. It's already taken care of. Hope the Trooper makes a full recovery.
