OMG! Like the story says that is over five years. That is 4,800,000 per year (if they buy the maximum) and they have 4,000 air marshals. That comes out to 1,200 rounds per air marshal. And they fire 240 rounds per year to qualify with each weapon. So if they only ever carry a single weapon that leaves them 80 rounds per month for practice. If they have two weapons they carry after qualification that would mean they have thirty rounds of practice ammo per weapon per month.

The U.S. Marshals have a legitimate need for firearms, but the USDA,TSA, IRS, Dept of Interior, USPS, Homeland Security (that one needs abolishing as sure as the BATFE) and MANY more Federal agencies, do NOT need access to firearms.

They can request local LE assistance if they believe lethal force may be necessary. The FBI can stick to "Investigating" as they were originally tasked to do and 'notify' State LE as necessary.
Every one of these federal agencies is outspokenly Anti-2nd Amendment and Anti U.S. Constitution.

A good Patriot can no longer be called "paranoid" in today's blatantly Anti-American political climate.

LOL!! So very true, yet so many seem to think he is a legitimate source of information. Sort of ranks up there with so many on the left using The daily Show with Jon Stewart as their source for accurate news. Sad.

Hmm. That seems very close to the argument that one should only need to carry a CCW when they believe they might get into a bad situation. BTW, there are plenty of those local agencies that are every bit as outspokenly anti-2nd as the feds, some more so.

I guess when the Transportation Safety Officers come under siege from the evil Decepticons, their rounds will penetrate into the "vital passenger compartments."
