Sheesh. Goes to show that you can't make comments even jokingly. Seems that our 1A rights are going away since you got to watch what you say all of the time. Like I've said before, the police state is on it's way here (some might argue that it's already here).

Here is the quote from one news story from the other thread:
According to court records Sutterfield had expressed a suicidal thought during the visit, perhaps tongue-in-cheek, when she said “I guess I’ll go home and blow my brains out.” This prompted her doctor to contact police.
Here is a quote from the artice referenced in this thread:
When she mentioned something about suicide during one session, the doctor went straight to the authorities.
Funny how those two sound totally different (at least to me)

Well with all the backlash that going to happen after the Santa Barbara Shooters YouTube Video and Mental Illness Awareness Fallout, I am not really surprised at the PoPo's reaction.

And who are we to say that maybe she does or doesn't really have the frame of mind to be a responsible owner of a handgun. Even though if we look at it rationally, she can kill just as many innocent people with a fast moving Chevy as she can a hand gun. Or Rat Poison, or even a can of gasoline.

Sadly, where so we draw the line?????

Maybe if she'd have taken a minute to throw her mouth out of gear while her brain engaged the reprocussions of her thoughts said outloud.

But still, without a Legal Warrant should still not be right in our Country!
It's not like they didn't have time to fast track one through a Judge!
What have you done to prepare for the end of civilization as we know it?

This is a real good strategy. Take away the gun from a legal gun owner, piss her off and make a criminal out of her. If criminals don't have a problem getting a gun to commit crimes, maybe she can get another gun too. Where do these people come up with these stupid ideas.

I find supremely ironic that God in his wisdom and grace has given man freedom of choice bounded by 10 simple rules. Man in his finite wisdom has created millions of rules to limit freedom of choice and the personal responsibility of his fellow man.

Those judges need to be thrown off the bench. Then thrown out a window 6 stories up.

First time I've ever seen that one attributed to Jefferson, but:
