    Cool stuff!

But, in the wrong hands, very very dangerous. Ugh.

I know I always love it when the media provides the "how to"!

I didn't see any "how to", and I'm sure a chemist downstairs could give me a shopping list to make a passable binary. To appropriately evaluate this, and recognizing that the basic knowledge is on most any college campus, we need to recognize that "terrorism" is only successful when:
    1) Retaliation is unlikely/impossible.
    2) The populace relies on the artificial construct of "society" for protection. (AKA, "Did a caveman hoot for a committee, before taking a club to the lion, or try to scare it off himself, and club the crap out of it, if it didn't scare?")

    The questions should be:
    1) How many people can learn to recognize this (or any other threat) and be relied on to act/intervene?
    2) Can you legally have the components and properly apply them?

Not fun or in any way PC, but realistic.

As this was chemically very non-specific (like zero ) - I did take it more as a warning/FYI.

I am sure any nasty bad guy has usually enough ingenuity to do this or similar if he has a mind to and access to what is needed. Assuming also that the whole thing is genuine and not faked (and it could be).

Imagine a spoonfull of flour and some added food color paste - we have the mix. Cannon fuse is easy. Finally pack melon from hidden side with something potent and run video, with pause to suit where needed.

Equally - it might be for real.

Keep in mind also, that this binary (as with a lot of other types), is not very stable. It is not something I would want to carry around in my pocket for any length of time.

Some binaries are shock sensitive as well being heat sensitive, which can add to their instability.

I was thinking of the carry method more than the chemistry. And I have to admit, I'm probably over paranoid in this area.
