Bad: an officer lost his life last night

Tragic timeline for Indianapolis Metro Police Department - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

A local officer was killed in the line of duty last night. This is the 3rd officer lost in less than a year. I think it's time to take back our streets the old fashioned way.

rip officer Renn your watch is done.

"Renn and other officers ended up in an alley exchanging gunfire with the suspect, who had an assault rifle."

I doubt it was an assault rifle. Maybe an "assault weapon".

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families as the mourn the loss of the hero.
May we all be reminded of those that serve and protect around us, and appreciate the sacrifices they make.

I believe that our thin blue line needs the help of the old grey line to be eyes and ears and if need be back up of some kind so stay alert and keep in mind that most of are fine officers and you never know when we will need each other.
