If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

    Cool Grunt

Tried to join Marine Corps when I was 17, Mom and Dad wouldn't sign for me. I enlisted in the Army at the old age of 21. Served in the Infantry by choice.

Possible resumption in 2007 as Reserve or possibly National Guard.

I was recruited by the Marines when I fought in the Golden Gloves in 1949. I failed the physical (bad knee) so I tried the Army and their quota was full. The Air Force was expanding so they took me. I was the only one of 35 without a high school diploma. I finished high school and attended college in the AF and eventually received two degrees after my retirement. Had I went in the Marines or Army I might not have survived the Korean and Vietnam wars. I shoot in IDPA with a Kimber 1911 .45.

Army National Guard. I was in for a change and it worked.
There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)
