I always thought of this technology, but I thought it was too far fetched. I guess not! It's pricey (for the net worth), but all cool things are.

I would have to see it to believe it. I don't see any reason why the "bad guy" fell on the demo.
What Would Gumby Do?
Might work.
Id like to play with it some.
Might be OK to keep in the car, but it kindof big to be wearing on the belt.

Gotta love new stuff. Road spikes were thought of as impractical/too high liability when they first came out too.Bar fights were a common force on force encounter when I started out in the late 70's and this would not work there, but for a 1 perp standing in an empty lot would be good. On a non windy day with witnesses standing by and taking down a naked psych patient you would look like a pro. You cant do that force on naked nut job and look like a winner.

I would put that in my fishing kit in a heartbeat.

Yes. Same Same. A non or less lethal weapon if available to immediately take control is better than hands on force on force, but only if you think it will work. A Tazar here , maybe NOT.Usually on naked nut jobs the immediate threat is not to others as being naked no weapon is visible. Having seen severe injuries due to vehicle traffic or other abilities to cause self inflicted damage action must be swift to minimize injuries.(And if a chain reaction accident occurs as only the first vehicle will see why evasive action is needed, then multiple injuries of uninvolved persons can occur) This is a weapons forum.Innovation I encourage, testing is what helps evaluate, discussion spreads the information.Talking about someones mother usually leads to bad things, lets stay on track.
