The Orlando area is getting worse too. While Washington is trying to take the guns away the drugsare gaining ground.
It does seem ''things'' are cranking up - very broadly.

Most recent update I can find. Noth officers are in "good" condition. They were shot at different parts of the ordeal. One at the beginning it seems, and then another during the pursuit.

Cincy has to be a LEO nightmare.

There is a large amount of tension between certain portions of the population and the police in Cincy. The thing is, this area this all occured in is middle/upper middle class suburbs with some farms still operating in the area. It's not downtown or Over the Rhine where the majority of crime seems to occur, and where the riots a few years back really took hold.Cincy has to be a LEO nightmare.

I was under the impression that the majority of crime in Cincy was in Over the Rhine. Isn't that what the whole "Vortex" thing was about?
I might be wrong on this though, I only watch Cincy news when I'm at my uncles or visiting my Grandparents.

I didn't make that sentence as clear as I should have. Over the Rhine is the center of crime, with some other areas growing. The "it's" in the sentence was referring to the Sharonville/West Chester (north western suburbs).

Another update, apparently it seems to have been drug related on some level.
