'US ready to strike Iran on Good Friday'
So say Russian intelligence sources, although the Russian Defense Ministry denies it. From the Jerusalem Post:

The United States will be ready to launch a missile attack on Iran's nuclear facilities as soon as early this month, perhaps "from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. on April 6," according to reports in the Russian media on Saturday.

According to Russian intelligence sources, the reports said, the US has devised a plan to attack several targets in Iran, and an assault could be carried out by launching missiles from fighter jets and warships stationed in the Persian Gulf.

Russian news agency RIA Novosti quoted a security official as saying, "Russian intelligence has information that the US Armed Forces stationed in the Persian Gulf have nearly completed preparations for a missile strike against Iranian territory."

The Russian Defense Ministry rejected the claims of an imminent attack as "myths." There was no immediate response from Washington.

Well this got political quick, I guess a refuge from logic exists in politics?

Attacking Iran would be in Israel's interests, as such they are encouraging us to do so.
When and if it is proven that there are US personnel held capture in Tehran we should act, until then let Britain and the UN drink tea with Ahmednejad and do the diplomatic thing that they all enjoy so much.

Well, doesn't mean Britain isn't in on it. I suppose we definitely owe them one by now. If it does happen, I hope at least we don't try and occupy them. We've already got one disaster as far as that goes.

Boy howdy do we owe them one. I have no qualms with helping Britain get their men back if it comes to that, and I agree that we don't need to stick around and try to "civilize" them.

Looks like Iran is gonna let them go. Probably decided it was getting too strained to risk war. Probably a well played political move on Adjamsadsjahd's part.

I'll bet the Brits and the Iranians worked it out behind the scenes as a way to let everyone off the hook. This way, neither side loses face.
