NC Swat getting new weapons

I looked at a house for a SEU (swat) team member in the area. He showed up in duty uniform, and being me asked what kind of light he carried and what kind of sidearm they were issued. The lite was a streamlight (I showed him the mine was bigger ) and the side was a single stack smith in .45. after some conversation, he mentioned that next year the dept was switching to xd-45's.
