Gun Control means never having to say "I missed you."

    - Glock 27 (.40)
    - Kel-Tec p3at (.380)
    - Beretta 96FS (.40)
    - Smith & Wesson 5906 (9mm)

I have standing permission(from my wife) that if Hillery becomes president I can purchase most anything I want firearm related.

I have no doubt she would push for severe gun control... the type that would make us all criminals. (well those who do not give up their firearms) Granted she can not single handedly do such a thing, but she would assist anything that would futher the cause of thought, i mean, gun control.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

She has about as much chance as Obama which is slim.
His and her best bet is to join forces toward the Dem ticket.
But then there is the problem of who's on first...

Both of their egos are too great to sit back in the roll of VP.
Obama can't be lead because his record is too shallow and truth be told America is not ready for a Black president. It's the truth and I'm Black, and as of this sitting I wouldn't and don't endorse him.
At the same time just not enough voting people like Hillary to get her in and I'm not quite sure America is ready for a pushy female president either...muchless Hillary Clinton who is largely reviled in govt. even as she is an insider. I would not get behind Hillary either.

The dark horse is John Edwards.
But frankly I don't feel the dems have a realistic chance as based on voter turnout figures during '04 and '00.
It would take a return of Gore with possibly Obama or Edwards as secondary to really shake things up...or better yet Bill Clinton himself as VP (!).
I'm pretty much convinced though that Hillary even with all her supporter connections and chest of money is a losing proposition.

    Jang,

Question for you as a person of color. How would you feel about Dr. Condoleezza Rice?

I vote on policy not color. I think America is ready for a non-white president.

I would like to see Fred Thompson go for it!

    bst,

I'm not fond of Condi...and like you I too vote based on policy rather than ethnicity or even party. I commonly vote mixed at a state and local level as based on who tells the least amount of lies and/or makes the most sense, to me, toward best benefiting the community at large even if that might mean I personally might wind up holding the bag with higher taxes or some such.

In fact today I have to go vote on my own towns referendum to raise taxes or keep them same toward covering a budgetary shortfall.

Fred Thompson is an interesting player and I hope he decides to change his mind and throw his hat into the circus ring. The more contestants the better as the 'traditional' options aren't really all that much of a choice. :\

    Regards,
