Columbia Police Searching for Mall Shooting Suspect
The hunt continues for the suspect in a shooting outside a South Carolina shopping mall that left a man dead and his daughter injured.
Police say Michael James Young confronted the woman at the mall in Columbia, then followed her into the parking lot, where he shot her and her father. The father died at the scene.

Find out which mall, and see if it is posted no-carry, just like Trolley Square in Utah...
This why my family and I never go to malls. I can carry, but she can't, and that ain't fair.
If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?

this murderer should never be let out on bond. I'll bet he gets something like twenty five years for murder. Sometimes I wonder what gives with the justice system.

armoredman;
what do you mean you can carry and she can't?
and as far as the rest of the story goes. I think that Sig229 is right on, as I have found out, there is not justice system, just plain ol legal system with lots and lots of bad scumy lawyers.

He's arrested for stalking her.....bonds out....then she ends up being murdered by him.
Seems to be an all too common theme these days doesn't it?
The "justice" system in this country needs an enema.

This makes the case for the judges being held criminally libel for the actions of the ones they release. You would see a big change in situations like this!

That's before the trial. After the trial: It's no longer a PENAL system, it's a CORRECTIONAL system. A similar change in wording that indicates a change in thinking. We used to send criminals to prison to punish them - Penal system. Now we send criminals to correctional facilities to teach them to be productive citizens. Which system gets the most return visits? Care to venture a guess? Do the research and you will find that the "Correctional" system has a much larger proportion of return engagements than the Penal system. When the intended result is changed from something that can be accomplished - punishment to something that cannot be accomplished - corrections the system will fail. Results more crime, over flowing prisons, higher taxes, etc.
