Now that is funny. I didn't know anyone in Washington was honest. First time I have ever heard someone in Washington being accused of that.

What's next? A car that runs on batteries?! No wait, I got it...how about a giant fence that keeps out ILLEGAL aliens! Or wait, tax reform. No, no, no how about a working politician!

You guys' fence idea sounds great but so did Tesla's free energy. We can all dream can't we?

    Money Talks!!

I agree with the wall completley!, Land mines? yep!! But First we need to stop the money from going to Mexico, NO bank transactions between mexico and the U.S. , None, not western union, not wire transfers , not mailed money orders, NOTHING!! That will make the Mexican government sit up and take notice! And, Get Sheriff Joe to run the whole fence building operation! (Illegal aleins in pink underwear), That'll send a message!

Best ideas I have heard yet. I completely agree with the bank transactions! Stop letting our country be the second most lucrative business in Mexico. Stop the money and you will stop half or more of the illegals coming in.

In addition to a fence, stopping money transactions to south of the border, confiscating all monies and properties from illegal aliens, we should start prosecuting those who hire the illegals! They have violated a number of federal laws, mostly those dealing with taxes, which means the IRS gets to go after them. The other action we should take with illegal aliens is to deport them to the farthest point in their country from the US, either by plane or preferably, cargo ship.

    I vote for two walls...

The first wall will be about 1/2 miles in from the recognized border...

The second wall should be built about 400 yds (or less, YMMV) inside of the first wall. This should be patrolled by citizens with high-powered rifles....or military...whatever

The first wall will serve as a backstop...add about 3/4" steel about 8ft high (to protect the wall from rifle rounds).

I'm in favor a fence/wall along the dry land border. The river needs armed patrols 24/7 with shoot first orders. Leave them for fish bait. My family has had a hunting lease since 1958 about 10 miles inland from the river. In all those years, our cabin was never broken into. In the last two years, the wetbacks have gutted the place two times - each time taking all the food, water, bedding, sleeping bags, etc etc etc. A fence wouldn't help, because there isn't anybody there to enforce the existing laws. Our game laws should classify illegals as varmits...........
