Leo Interview
As some of you know...I had an interview w/ the local PD....well 3 weeks later I got a call back. I have to go run the physical on wednesday. To me, getting called back after the interview is a great sign. All LEOs....am I right in thinking this? Or, am I just thinking to far ahead?
God Bless America!!

War is not the ugliest of things. Worse is the decayed state of moral feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which he cares for more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free. -J.S. Mill

As long as they didn't call you to come back and pick up a 'new TV' that you had just won...
Really, congrats...sounds good to me!
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."

Thanks everyone for the support. As you might know I just got married and am trying to buy a house and the job with the PD. It just seems like everything is falling into place. As far as the job, I never wanted something so bad. It's my dream job. The only down side to the job....they carry OLD S&W pistols. Not sure model, but really could use an upgrade!
God Bless America!!

I remember having the same feelings in 1992 when I tested for my job. Been there since and it has been an adventure every step of the way! BTW, I started with an old S&W 669 that had been ridden hard and put up wet. I wasn't too happy at first but I realized that with a little practice I could run it like nobody else! Congratulations.
If you can qualify with your own firearm, they may allow you to carry it.
