    Not Your Average Door Gunner

I'd say this young Airman has "the right stuff".

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

I noticed right away that the caption to the photo was in error. Neither she nor the gun are associated with an AC-130 gunship. She is a door gunner on an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter.

    Hmmmmm

Now that pair (girl with gun) would be perfect for home defence.
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

I wouldn't want to make her mad by scattering high-value targets.

I sure wouldn't want to be one of her targets, but I think, at this point, I lack sufficient value....

Well, it's also possible she is one of the many female servicemen who pose with weapons she has nothing to do with in order to impress people who aren't there, and so pictures of her with said weapons can be posted on the internet.

    See: Myspace.

Well, I was wrong about her.

The fact remains that what I said happens, and quite frequently.
