For my team
Physically fit and able to pass an annual full gear physical.
Well above average marksmanship and gun handling skills with all weapons platforms. Failure to qualify at a raised minimum of 90% at any time results in removal from the team.
A review of all previous qualification scores.
Ability to be a team player.
Ability to make aound tactical decisions on the fly...
...and the most important skill of stroking the SWAT Commanders over inflated ego. (I failed that one).
Training means learning the rules. Experience means learning the exceptions.
