I wonder if he was convicted of the felony or misdemeanor? If he was convicted of a felony does he lose his law license? He got off too d____d easy. He should have to do all that plus wash the Marine recruiters cars (both government and personal) and the vehicles of every Marine in the city and nearest Marine facility for 1 full month. After this he should be given a ticket charged to his credit account then physically placed on the plane by deputies. Restitution? How about a brand new car of indentical make and model for Sgt. McNulty.

I work at an Army facility and how about soldiers driving new Escalades, Beemers, and Mercedes? We have several that do. Years ago we even had a DoD Police Officer that also drove a Mercedes and the pay aint that good.

Not really a good outcome. He should at least had a little jail time. That was more than a teenager engaging in mischief. It was intentionally directed to the military act an ultimate act of disrespect.
On the other hand, it is not as disrespectful as John Kerry in his book entitled "The New Soldier" on which the cover displays hippies mocking the raising of the flag (upside down) by the Marines at Iwo Jima, and no one ever seemed to care.See:
