How can it be that FEMA doesn't want ANYONE with firearms ? Owners have every right to protect their assets with ANY means neccesary up to and including the use of firearms.
10:4 on that HG - and it is one of the aspects that if I read it right - scares me the most.

In a crisis situation - there is no way on earth that an Gov body can protect folks - the only aspect which they might claim, is that they do not want to be shot at!! Well - seeing as criminals give law the bird - they will still be toting - and possibly shooting!

We OTOH need every means necessary at our disposal to also deal with such threats - and that can mean guns for heaven's sake.

''We are here to save you'' has a very hollow ring in the real world - whoever might say it!

    Hotguns,
After reading through some of your old posts, I would be willing to bet that we agree on quite a few things. I woudl further bet that the things we disagree on are more a matter of semantics, or just plain old stubborness, than they are actual disagreements in principle. I bet we both believe that a well-armed citizen is a well-protected citizen. :c)

The refusal to allow AZ SAR to have armed escorts was as fine as an example of lunacy and idiocy as I have ever seen. I'm told it was also the reason that LA County SAR was refused. ALL of their members (YES....ALL!!!) are deputized and carry firearms. Gee, we don't need their incredible expertise in SAR if they want to carry their nasty, mean, evil ol' guns with them. Sigh...
