Sketchy site, for sure. Do I have a file? Meh. I'm not really concerned if I do. If I do, then what can I do about it? Appeal it if the results are negative to my opinion of myself? haha Nah. If I've got a file then I'll let it be. No sense adding another page to it if I don't have to. Positive or negative. I've been fingerprinted about a dozen times for various reasons though, so I'm sure they at least know of me on some level.

I am somewhat surprised to read people mentioning clearance levels on a public forum.

I'm sure that many of us do. I for sure do, given the field I work in.

There are FBI files, and then there are FBI files, if you get my drift...

You should probably be concerned if your FBI file is called a dossier.

I have a file with the FBI. For my entire military career I carried a Top Secret clearance with CNWDI. I still carry a Secret clearance, without CNWDI, of course.

Due to this thread, I have taken the liberty of hacking the FBI files on each member that posted here. They document that you all spend too much time on the Internet, reading gun boards. Oh, yeah, and that you don't exercise enough and eat too much junk food. The married males all leave the toilet seat up.
Scary, man, they got the goods on me.

If they don't, I sure you'll give them a reason to start one. Me, I'm sure I do.

I know I do. TS/crypto security while in the service. Security, Police and government jobs since. They probably know more about me than I know about myself!

Pretty sure I'm in the FBI database along with probably ALL the rest. Being a LEGAL perminant resident of the US. fo rthe past 12 yrs, not to mention recently getting my CCW, the good old INS# hits EVERY federal database when purchasing a handgun/rifle when NCIC BG checks are done according to ATF. (my FFL asked when I purchased my XD)

Besides I have to NOTIFY Immigration/HLS(homeland security) everytime I move or change jobs.

    So yep.....I'm in the system.

THe funny thing....I'm applying for US citizenship this May, and once that's finalized........I'll hopfully be as "anonymous" as the rest of ya.
    Yea.......RIGHT.

Yes I do have a file with the DOJ, and probably the State Dept too.
