USAF '63 ~ 67. Aircraft maintenance, & Munitions maintenance. I either fixed up the airplanes or blew up the landscape.
Vietnam 65/66. God bless the Marines, it's 'cause of them I'm still alive. Da-Nang, The USAF, the Marines and the Army all together, shared food, beer, ice, lies, stories, steaks, more beer. Remember the Marine grunts coming back to da nang in their APCs, dirty exhausted and alive, us Air Force pukes tossing iced 6 paks of whatever beer we could get to them. Still buy Marines a drink at airports when the opportunity presents.
Son Colin did his 4 as a Marine too.
