US Army 1968-1972. Primary MOS 11F4P, infantry operations & intelligence, airborne. Vietnam 1969-1971. Pathfinder team leader, airborne infantry squad leader and platoon sergeant. Secondary MOS 95B40 military police, patrol supervisor, provost marshal's investigator (they made me an MP when they couldn't figure out what to do with a shot-up infantry sergeant they couldn't send back to the bush for a few months).

    Welcome home everybody.

AD USAF, just shy of 19 years at this time. Definitely holding out to at least 20, but will likely go High Year Tenure.

Holloman AFB, NM - 9 years
Suwon AB, RoK - 1 year
Little Rock AFB, AR - 9 years this November

Supply Puke by trade, worked more out of my regular squadron level career field jobs more than I have in the Supply (now LRS) squadron: 3 1/2 years w/F-117A's at HAFB, 7 years w/C-130E/H/J's here at LRAFB. I've run armories at two Deployed locations - not qualified as an armorer, tho can do some light armorers work - , was on the Armory Team at HAFB as an E-4 and was AsstNCOIC at LRAFB's MoBags, as well as NCOIC for the Deployment Armory. Currently working as the PMEL Supply Liaison. It's a really nice, low-stress job that's been an awesome break from 7 years of flightline work, which was filled w/a total of 7 Deployments in 6 years.

    Spent a little time in:
Saudi Arabia (two tours), Kuwait (two tours), Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan and Iraq (three tours) - all told almost 3 1/2 years in The Desert, tho not more than 140 days at one time, like my Brothers & Sisters in the US Army & USMC generally have to endure.

To my fellow Veterans - thank you for your Service!

Active Duty Army, Branched Armor, Serving in a Cavalry Squadron.

Went to North Georgia College & State University as a Cadet, but comissioned trough OCS. It is a long story involving a Colonial's daughter.

Currently stationed at Ft Bliss, and deployed to Iraq as a Battle Captain. Looking forward to going home and seeing my girls. I only meet the baby 10 days before deploying.
