I guess I can give a little, start spring of 1957 I joined the Navy over the next several years had time in Asia, the Black Sea, the middle east when it got hot in Beirut, Africa, N. Atlantic, Cuba, S. America, Red Sea. Boots on the ground in several of those places of which I really try to keep out of my mind, left when they let me go home
Active Duty Marine Corps. Two deployments to Afghanistan, one in 2011, one in 2012. Served with 2D LAR BN & 2/9.
USAF C-130 Crew Chief 64-72, Arizona and Kansas National Guard. 80 - 92. Active Reserves from 92 - 04.
USAF, 1985-2005, Assignments in Japan, Korea, Florida and Wyoming (Not necessarily in that order). Spent some time in the sandbox during OSW.

SFC U.S. Army serving since 2004, Artilleryman by trade but have done anything and almost everything in today's Army the most versatile Soldiers are the Artillermen! Three Combat deployments 2 in Iraq 1 in Afghanistan. Have been stationed at Ft.Campbell, KY Ft.Hood, TX and Ft. Sill, OK.
USMC 1983-1987. Honorably discharged. Worked on helicopters. Overseas deployment to Japan and Okinawa. Not much excitement, just did my four years and got out.:smile:

I'm proud to say I follow in some of your foot steps that are now retired as I continue the fight with 17 years in service., 4 active Navy 13 reserves. Been around the world twice and still wish to sail the 7 seas again but with bugit cuts this salty dog doesn't get out much like I want to anymore. "Go Navy beat Army, oh, you already did that's right." LOL
