My Daughter is at camp Humphreys now it is just starting their spring time, but the air quality is terrible, air pollution from China blows across Korea and the air can be yellow and smell like the inside of a outhouse, the people for the most are very friendly to our service personnel, make friends and do not be a barracks rat, get out and enjoy yourself.

Take a lot of photos to bring home. I didn't take enough while I was in Viet Nam with my unit. I wish that I had taken a lot more, especially of the guys from my platoons. Some of them never came back alive. The few photos that I did get and bring home I value a lot. You can't take enough photos and remember to label them for later on...
Imagine that you're an enemy soldier and you are surrounded by U.S. Army paratroopers on one side and American marines on the other side... Talk about a hopeless situation... That has got to be legal grounds for suicide!

Just an update to my original post, my freaking orders just got cancelled so I am not going anymore. It's a good thing though I get to stay with my family in Arizona for a while longer. I was dreading being away from them for another year. Thanks for all the inputs!

Are you going somewhere else or staying where you are now?

P.S. I was at "The Kun" (Kunsan) in 1994. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
