I'll go out on a limb and guess that he means Alachua County Sheriff's Office?
If that's the case, I wish you the best of luck. Just remember, you'll be dealing with THOUSANDS of drunk fans everytime there's a home game...personally, I think all of the officer's working those games should get a medal or pay increase or...something.

Anchorage is a fairly modern city, the only difference is that its surrounded by not much at all.

Anchorage was the first thought that came to me when I saw APD. I lived there for 12 years. I was a State LEO for 5 of those years.Iam sorry sorta left yall hanging anchorage police department .

APD is a very fine department. They used to be represented by the Teamsters Union, don't know if they still are.
Anchorage is a modern city, no "fairly" about it, but unfortunately with many of the less desireable big city amenities like drugs and gangs.
Yeah, it's surrounded by not much at all, except beautiful, unspoiled wilderness!

I didnt mean any disrespect at all to Anchorage, I'd live there in a heart beat if I could. The "fairly" was meant in comparison to the uber modern cities like Tokyo or even its closest American counterpart, Seattle. But, you are right, Anchorage is a modern city by any account.Anchorage is a modern city, no "fairly" about it, but unfortunately with many of the less desireable big city amenities like drugs and gangs.
