Great article.. small world.
My brother is Capt. on one of those hospital planes. He is over the Medical Crew that serves, going to Afghanistan and Iraq and back to Ramstein with the ambulatory patients. He was featured in the Stars and Stripes several months ago. He loves that job.
His only gripe is that if he gets promoted to Major, he quits flying with them and goes back into the ER for his next rotation. He is a nurse practioner.

Maker of cool things to shoot
Thanks for posting, a lot of improvements since the Med Evacs I flew on C141’s in 75-77. Much better equipment and procedures, back then we were not able to transport patients unless they were stable and out of ICU.
